the one with Caela & Nic

Meet Caela & Nic...we did a quick little shoot outside their house to get a nice picture for their Christmas card. I love working with couples! This first image is something fun I tried out--what do you think?

the one with Anne

Can I just say how much I love love doing seniors?! Anne was quite the trooper as we went out on a day when it was negative degree weather! We didn't think it was going to be that cold so we only took a few shots...this is my favorite from the day :)

the one with Lacey

Miss Lacey is my beautiful niece and she just recently turned 2 months old...she was so sleepy so I thought I would try and grab some cute shots of her on Thanksgiving!

the one with heidi & chad

I met Heidi & Chad at Central Park recently for their engagement session. They are getting married in just a few weeks and luckily, we got out before the snow and with some leaves still on the ground! It was pretty chilly but they were definitely troopers!

the one with Briana

Briana loves to pose so it's never hard to get her in front of the camera! Enjoy these recent shots of her!

the one with Seth

While we're still enjoying some nice weather (that is surely to become the frozen tundra soon!), I thought I'd grab a few pictures of Seth...he loves Teddy so we had to bring him in for some pics!

And check out the serious pose...all Seth's idea...he loved it!

the one where I'm beginning

Hey everyone!

I figured as I started out this whole photography thing, I should have a place to post pictures and keep you informed of where I'm at!

Since I'm literally JUST starting out, most of my beginning posts will be of family and friends as I create a portfolio. But I'm hoping that is just the beginning of my career in photography!

I probably won't be posting super often (or as often as I'd like!) right away as it takes awhile to build up a portfolio before people actually start hiring you as their "photographer"! (I can't wait to be called that professionally!) *edit* I recently read an article where one piece of advice a professional photographer was giving to those just starting out was "Learn to say "I'm a photographer" out loud with a straight face. If you can't say it and believe it, you can't expect anyone else to, either." So that is something I will need to work on!

Check back occasionally and I hope you enjoy my photos!!
